The World Through My Lens

This will certainly show my age! 

I have been drawn to photography ever since the 6th grade when my photography teacher handed me an unfocused camera and told me to focus it. This only intensified when I was in high school and was introduced to the darkroom and changing bags. 

I see photography as an expression of life. What you see in that moment. I love capturing nature and people. I prefer candids to structured, but can find uniqueness in both.  For example, the  photo above was a completely unplanned photo I took of my bonus son. However it looks posed, this to me is the best of both worlds 

Photography is a way of sharing stories. I have done everything from baby announcements to weddings., It is a great way to announce and communicate all the wonderful things that are happening in your life.
